Paul Nishikawa
With over 12 years in Web design and development, Paul's experience in online marketing and interaction design has spanned the technical and creative gamut. From e-zines in 1996 to e-commerce in 2006, he has been involved in all aspects of Web site development.
After working in print in the early 90s, Paul took to the Web, developing his first commercial site in 1995. He eventually joined one of Ottawa's most prestigious agencies, with clients like the World Bank, National Research Council and the Canadian Medical Association. Paul performed end-to-end services from account management to back-end code.
In 1998, Paul combined work and his passion, joining Hockey Canada to manage its Web site and print publications. Paul eventually assumed oversight of Hockey Canada's entire IT portfolio. In 2000, he joined the dot-com boom, working on Nevadabob.com's e-commerce initiative.
Stepping out on his own, Paul parlayed his years of experience into a successful freelance operation. In 2004, Paul jumped at the chance to work at Critical Mass as a visual designer and information architect with clients like Dell, AT&T Wireless and Albertson's.
Following stints as an art director and creative director with smaller agencies, Paul joined Neteller in 2005 as an interaction designer. Six months in, he was promoted to product management, which allowed Paul to guide simple and effective solutions for complex internal applications.
