Ashifa Asaria Sr. User Experience Architect
Ashifa is a world traveler who’s worked on both sides of the border, and who now calls Ottawa, Ontario home.
When she’s not working, Ashifa spends her time studying and practicing photography. She loves to hike, swim and play tennis and volunteers with local organizations.
Ashifa brings a breadth of experience in the interactive industry to her user experience work. In 2001 she began her career as an information architect with Rouncharch in California, working on major redesigns for Nortel Networks and the California Department of Insurance.
Ashifa moved to Canada in 2002 and joined Critical Mass as a senior information architect and engagement manager. She honed her skills as lead information architect on accounts like New Balance and Cingular, and led major redesigns for Rolex, Dell, and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.
In 2006, Ashifa took a break from working life and set off to explore the world. Her adventures took her across Canada, to Southeast Asia and to Africa. She returned home and signed on with the UX Guys, where she has worked with Emerson, American Airlines, Lowes, Freshsteps and other clients.
