Ed Mehrer
Chief Experience Architect

After eight years in the interactive marketing and Web design space, Ed has become the quintessential 'generalist' — wearing the hat of business analyst, information architect/interaction designer and content analyst.
After a brief career as a newspaper reporter, Ed joined Critical Mass in 2000 and helped establish the content analyst practice. Ed established content as an integral part of the Critical Mass development process. Ed developed content for a variety of clients: Mercedes-Benz USA, Dell, Hyatt and Morgan Stanley.
Ed switched disciplines in 2004, moving to information architecture. As an IA, Ed worked with Kaiser Permanente, Smithsonian Magazine, Reliant Energy and Uniroyal.
Ed left Critical Mass in 2005, joining online financial services company Neteller as a senior content analyst. Six months in, Ed switched to interaction design and was promoted to user experience team lead. As an interaction designer, Ed had extensive experience creating and streamlining complicated Web applications.
