Mark Heard User Experience Architect

Mark is a user experience architect who recently joined UX Guys after spending seven years at Critical Mass: the last four as director of their content team.

He has developed content strategies and written copy for clients including Rolex, Best Buy and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. He also contributed to the awarded NASA.gov portal, an effort that included editorial board design and guidelines tor the aggregation of content from over 3,000 NASA websites.

In addition to his content role, Mark has had the opportunity to lead the user experience design of numerous projects for AT&T, Rolex and Best Buy.

For Rolex, Mark designed the information architecture for their online sales and service program, digesting complicated business rules and marrying them with the user need to find authorized Rolex dealers. For Best Buy, he focused on the user experience of an ecommerce prototype for purchasing electronics.

Prior to joining Critical Mass, Mark was an E-content Creator and Information Officer with the United Nations Development Program in Mongolia. He is the author of several travel guidebooks on destinations in the United States and Canada.
